It was 1999 when Mr. Harbhajan Singh Samra, pioneered the mass cultivation of Okra in California, earning him the title of the Okra King of California. Since then Samra Produce has grown to over 1000 acres under cultivation and now grows over the largest variety of Indian vegetables and fruits in the USA.
